Hubbard Street has assigned renewing subscribers seats at Steppenwolf Theatre based on the same Section and relative placement of your assigned seats at the Harris and the MCA last season.

The Young Professionals Membership program is designed to cultivate the next generation of arts patrons who are eager to socialize, engage, and see incredible dance performances. At the generously discounted price of $60 ($20 per ticket), Young Professional Members are 35 years of age or younger and receive a Section 3 ticket to one performance of their choice in each of the Fall, Winter, and Spring Series (Section 2 for Fall Series at Steppenwolf). All this, plus access to additional discounted tickets, invitations to exclusive events, and more!

When a Young Professionals Membership is purchased for $60, you will be contacted by someone on Hubbard Street staff to confirm eligibility and help customize your package.

If you have specific seats in mind, you can select your exact seats by subscribing over the phone. Call the HSDC Box Office at 312-850-9744 ext. 5, 7 days per week between 9am-8pm, to speak with an associate.

If you opt to subscribe online, you cannot select specific seats. You will instead select your Price Zone—Premier or Section 2 for Steppenwolf, and Premier, Section 2, Section 3, or Section 4 for the Harris—and then within 48-72 hours you will receive a confirmation email with your exact seats assigned. You may also note seating requests at the time of purchase, e.g. “Aisle seat preferred,” and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Don’t worry; with your subscriber benefit of no-fee exchanges, you will be able to exchange into new seats in the same Price Zone by calling us if you want to make a change!

By selecting at least one performance from each series and subscribing now, you will guarantee your seats to all Chicago performance series and avoid being shut out by a sold-out run. Plus, subscribers get free ticket exchanges throughout the season, so if your plans change, simply call the HSDC Box Office at 312-850-9744 ext. 5 and request to move into comparable seats at a different performance that better suits your schedule.

Yes! Subscribers get 20% off full price tickets for themselves, as well as for unlimited guest tickets that can be booked throughout the season with a special promo code. The most affordable subscription level is in Section 4, where you can book into 3 performances for just $104 (around $34 per ticket), plus a one-time order fee. In addition to the discount on tickets, subscribers also receive 20% off all HSDC merchandise.

Subscribers get advance access to seats before the general public, and 20% off full price tickets in Premier, Section 2, Section 3, or Section 4. Tickets in Section 5, the $20 price zone, are only in limited locations and in limited quantity. As a Subscriber, you get 20% off additional guest tickets, free ticket exchanges, exclusive behind-the-scenes content and invitations to special events, discounts on merchandise, and advance access!

In an effort to reduce paper use, HSDC no longer mails physical tickets. Subscribers will receive e-tickets via email that can be displayed on a mobile device or printed out.
