Abby Olson (General Manager) began her tenure with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in 2018. Hired as the Company Manager, she was quickly promoted to Associate Touring Producer, acting as Hubbard Street’s in-house agent, booking performance opportunities both nationally and internationally, and most recently filling the role of General Manager. Prior to her time with Hubbard Street, Abby worked at The Washington Ballet in Washington, DC under Septime Webre and Julie Kent, respectively, as Company Manager and Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors. Abby has filled administrative roles at American Ballet Theatre in NYC and Vail International Dance Festival in Vail, CO. Abby has a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from American University.
