Clara Trippe (Development Storyteller, she/they) is a writer and poet raised in the Midwest, whose previous experience spans academia and the non-profit sector. Before this position, she has worked in political and community organizing as well as private tutoring and college application counselling. She joins Hubbard Street after receiving her MFA in Poetry at the University of Oregon, where she taught creative writing and composition courses, and a BA in English from Grinnell College. Her work appears in literary journals such as The Rumpus and Heavy Feather Review, and she continues to write poetry and study folklore in her free time. Clara is excited to be included in the Hubbard Street community and return to the shores of her favorite lake.
